Unlike the Deluxe Home-Study GAMSAT Preparation Course, the Classic Package does not provide extensive online audiovisual lectures to teach GAMSAT-relevant science. MedPrep’s Classic Home-Study GAMSAT Preparation Course commences with a printable PDF Diagnostic Simulated GAMSAT Exam to expose your academic aptitudes and deficiencies. Based on the results, our GAMSAT Preparation Strategy Module will enable you to create an individualised study plan that will prioritise your learning and guide you through MedPrep course materials to optimise your study time and maximise your GAMSAT score.

After clarifying the criteria of assessment for both the argumentative and discursive types of GAMSAT essay questions, MedPrep’s 60 page printed and bound Home-Study GAMSAT Written Communication module, in concert with our optional online audiovisual Written Communication lectures, go on to propound a well conceived essay-writing methodology that has produced exceptional results for generations of MedPrep students. MedPrep’s method utilises quotation deconstruction and analysis, concept origination, idea integration, and the adoption of topic-independent stable essay architecture. This method, however, must be perfected through practice. Hence, in addition to the essay you write while taking the Diagnostic Simulated GAMSAT Exam, you will write sixteen additional GAMSAT essays. Eight of these are to be submitted to MedPrep online for professional analysis and critique while eight will be self-evaluated by comparison against corresponding model responses included in the course materials. Professional feedback on submitted essays will be available to students in an average of one week but can take up to 20 days during periods of heavy demand. In order to benefit from feedback, you are advised to submit essays for marking incrementally during your online access period rather than all at once at the end.
This 140 page printed and bound module of MedPrep’s Classic Home-Study GAMSAT Course addresses the Social Sciences and Humanities separately. GAMSAT Social Science material appears in various formats, including pictorial, graphical, and tabular representations of data. Common modes of data representation are reviewed in the Classic Home-Study GAMSAT Course notes followed by essential GAMSAT-style questions that advocate data analysis, extrapolation, and hypothesis construction. Success on GAMSAT Humanities is unlikely to be derived from ordinary passive reading. Hence, the Classic Home-Study GAMSAT course notes provide strategies to foster engagement with and comprehension of samples of sophisticated prose, poetry and editorial cartoons within a time management framework. Through practice with approximately 250 simulated GAMSAT questions corresponding to passages of personal, imaginative, expository and argumentative writing in addition to subtle poems and thoughtful cartoons, new skills are conditioned involving passage annotation, assessment of logical argumentative structure, subjective vs objective thinking, and question analysis.
Performing optimally on GAMSAT requires not only excellent cognitive and communications skills, but also tactical and strategic acumen. MedPrep’s Deluxe Home-Study GAMSAT Course contains three printed Test-Taking Strategy Documents, one for each section of GAMSAT. Tactics that may work in one section may not in another. Score enhancement is achieved through shrewd time management, intelligent speculation, logistical exploitation, and the insight that emerges from drill.
Three Full-Length printed Prognostic Simulated GAMSAT Exams, with detailed solutions to all questions, predict how you will perform on GAMSAT itself, thus providing a gauge of your exam-readiness and directing final study. One-third of detailed solutions are provided in print while two-thirds are made available online.
