The online instructor will present the relevant GAMSAT sciences material in conceptual, graphical and equation -orientated formats. MedPrep uses simulated GAMSAT questions and passages to illustrate the concepts being covered in each lesson, and to test students on topics covered in previous lessons. Because a growing number of arts students are sitting the GAMSAT, we have constructed our course and each individual online science session to begin with basic concepts and then move on to more elaborate topics. Remember that GAMSAT is designed to evaluate your intellectual potential (how quickly you build "thought-bridges" between simple ideas disguised within a complex context, and how confidently you formulate hypotheses and offer solutions), not your ability to regurgitate scientific facts. To this extent, then, undergraduate science degrees provide students with only a marginal advantage on the GAMSAT.
In addition, MedPrep’s science course materials are not like the unwieldy and arcane textbooks that you have likely struggled with during your tertiary studies. Instead, MedPrep has created a brand new set of comprehensive, concise, and conceptually clear online science notes tailored specifically to address the learning realities of independent study and distance education. Each captivating science lesson points out the “must know” concepts, symbolic representations, and equations found in GAMSAT-level science and is followed by a set of Quick Questions to test comprehension and ingrain new knowledge. MedPrep’s 450 pages worth of Science notes feature modules in Physics, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biology. MedPrep trains you to think the GAMSAT way.
